A British blogger became somewhat of an internet hero when she rewired her refrigerator’s water dispenser to pour out what she really wanted — wine.
, a 28-year-old from Manchester, decided she didn’t really need water coming out of her fridge. What she needed was some vino.
So with a little clever maneuvering, she got machine to dispense cold white wine whenever she wanted it.

‘We’ve just bought a house and we’re in the process of buying all the grown-up things we need,’ the young woman told in December.
‘My boyfriend Joe was telling me [the fridge] came with a wine rack and I just said, “why don’t we just put it in the Frigidaire EFWC900 Water Cooler cooler?” It seemed like the obvious thing to do.’
The couple’s fridge doesn’t seem to pull water from a plumbing system. Instead, their is a plastic tank for 45 liters of liquid, which Clare used to fill up with wine.

After setting up the new contraption, Clare took some pictures and shared them on Twitter, where they quickly went viral.
‘My adult life just peaked,’ she wrote, and was met with comments like: ‘You are a goddamn genius!’
The only catch, Clare added, was that the wine doesn’t last in the fridge long and the tank needs to be cleaned frequently.
‘It needs to be washed out after though so it doesn’t get clogged,’ she added. ‘Oxidized wine is not nice so drink fast!’
Seemingly inspired by Clare’s wine-dispenser, an user got creative with his own fridge. But rather than alcohol, he favored snacks.
The man cleared out the ice in his ice dispenser and filled it with what appear to be Totino’s pizza rolls, which come out when he pushes the lever with a plate.
They’re not cooked, of course, but are kept frozen and ready to go until he is ready to put them in the microwave.
